The 2022 Memorial Tournament saw pro golfers line up on the stage again, especially as the LIV Golf series decided to cause some drama in the golf world. However, the tournament went by smoothly for the players, held from 2nd to 5th June at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
Billy Horschel emerged as the winner of the tournament, in his seventh PGA win. Spanish golfer Jon Rahm finished 10th on the leaderboard amongst a rich field on players. On the third day of his tournament, he was seen discussing quite the tricky with his caddie, Adam Hayes. He discussed where to hit his second shot to make it to the green.

After hitting his initial shot in the green, Jon Rahm went on to say that “I think this thing is going to fly.” To this, Hayes responded affirmatively, saying “Yeah. With it being above your feet I agree.” Rahm went on to say that it would be fine if the shot went long.
Hayes goes on to give valuable advise to Rahm, saying that “I think the play is to be, you know if you get really lucky it stays on but if not, over is not bad.” When Rahm asks Hayes whether he needs to hammer the ball, his caddie calmly replies saying that it would not be necessary, he would only have to take a straight 5-iron. The strategy worked for Rahm, and the ball stayed on. He went on to birdie the par-5 15th hole at Muirfield Villlage Golf Club.
