“RAMMING-the-opponents”- Jon Rahm names his SON as inspiration for VICTORY shot at the DP World Championship

Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm has claimed the DP World Tour Championship for the third time, striking with a massive comeback post-COVID-19. His tremendous talent and sportsmanship have brought him the PGA Tour victory, the National Championship success, and finally in line a – claim on the DP World Tour.
It won’t be startling to mention at this point that Jon Rahm has had a rather ‘ramming-the-opponents’ year. Jon is particularly proud of himself, securing three wins, maybe not the major ones, but still significant on three different continents making him a worldwide golf sensation to be honest.
Even after accumulating truckloads of appreciation, Jon mentions the one that mattered the most- Eneko, the youngest of his kid clapped on a video sent to him by Kelley (partner). He said, “That’s what I was thinking on the last few holes, hopefully, try to make him clap a little bit more.”

Jon Rahm confesses his aggression helped him keep the winning form

The off-the-tee form that Rahm exhibited wasn’t as good as expected. However, the win doesn’t come naturally and he decodes the lengths he had to go, to quash his opponents. He said – “I cannot believe I shot 12-under with how badly I hit it off the tee on the weekend. I was just able to manage really well.”
Jon relied on his wedge game, especially at the moments he pitched out. He also believed that his iron game, anytime he was on the fairway was extremely solid and that’s what mattered to close a successful season. He was unaware of the stats and told, “Inside ten feet I was really, really, really solid, and that’s always going to carry forward.”
The main reason he came this far, he believes, is his aggression and the yearning he had for victory. The last shot might have been an inspiration from his youngest child, but his form is what carried him through. “I stayed aggressive and picked my battles, and again, I think I shot as low as I could have shot on the weekend to get this one,” remarked Jon Rahm upon his sequential victories with many more to come.
