The Riviera Country Club’s pro-am once again brought the Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Tiger Woods together. They teamed up to play together this year after meeting at the event last year. Allen admitted feeling “speechless” after meeting the golf GOAT last year at The Genesis Invitational.

As per the PGA Tour.com, Allen mentioned last year that it’s only Woods and Kobe Bryant “that I actually felt my heart beat faster.” However, he wasn’t the only one to praise Woods. The 82-time PGA Tour winner admitted that Allen was genuinely passionate about the sport. Woods said that the amount of “excitement” and “addiction” he has for the sport is “unbelievable“.

This isn’t Allen’s first golf game of this year, but there were others he participated in. Earlier this month he teamed up with Tom Brady for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. They competed against former PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and his partner, professional golfer Keith Mitchell. Allen and Brady tied for sixth out of 80 amateur/pro pairs.

Following last year’s disappointment, Woods is all set to kick off the PGA Tour at the Genesis Invitational with fans and players waiting in anticipation to see the legend on the greens. He was unable to compete in the PGA Championship in Rochester last year due to surgery and rehabilitation.
