“Keegan Bradley deserved to win even if no one was watching” – Twitter hits back at Joel Dahmen dig at LIV Golf viewership
Joel Dahmen
PGA Tour golfer Joel Dahmen has taken yet another swipe at the rebel LIV Golf. The American golfer has been pretty vocal about the controversial league. From time to time, he has taken a dig at a number of professionals who have joined the cash-rich league.
A couple of days back, the 34-year-old golfer slammed Brooks Koepka‘s win at Jeddah. In the past, he has also made fun of LIV golfers wanting to come back to play on the PGA Tour. Even Bryson DeChambeau has been at the receiving end end of Joel Dahmen’s onslaught against the LIV golfers.
With no end to this war – Dahmen has now taken a fresh dig at the Saudi-backed league. The former PGA Tour winner made fun of LIV golf viewing figures in his latest tweet. He took to Twitter and said: “If a player wins a golf tournament in a forest and no one sees it, does it count?”

LIV Golf viewership has been below par in their debut season
The golf world has been left stunned this year since the inception of LIV Golf. The controversial league has made some serious signings thanks to the massive amount of money offered to the top professionals. This has left the PGA Tour furious and there is large number of lawsuits pending from both parties in courts of law.
Despite its ability to attract high-profile names, LIV Golf has not been able to attract large audiences. On YouTube, only 17,000 viewers watched the opening round of the tournament in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia, as Koepka recorded a round of 62 to secure a foothold in the field.
The Greg Norman-led league can’t be aired on TV as they haven’t signed any official broadcaster for their debut season. Because of that their Championships are being streamed on the official website and YouTube. Despite free-to-air coverage, the LIV management will be disappointed by the latest viewing numbers. ‘
Although Joel Dahmen didn’t name which tournament he was talking about, it’s almost certain it wasn’t the Zozo Championship as he himself was part of it and finished 16th. Despite that, some fans joked that Bradley may have meant the win he secured in Japan when the US audience was asleep.
