Team USA deservingly won the Presidents Cup on Sunday after their hard-fought win over the International Team. The final scoreline read 17.5-12.5 as Team America popped up one bottle of champagne after another at the Quail Hollow Golf Club in North Carolina.

The US golfer Kevin Kisner who earned just half a point for his team said that he helped his team in many other ways throughout the event. The 38-year-old was the eldest golfer in the young US team and during the post-match press conference said: “I got half a point,” he said Sunday night, “but I brought the fun.”

Kisner was also seen pouring champagne into the Presidents Cup trophy which was in the hand of his teammate Jordan Spieth. The golfer shared a video on his social media platform Twitter and captioned it: “It’s gonna be a looong night.”

Earlier in the post-match press conference, the 38-year-old golfer also explained what impact he made in this week’s Presidents Cup and sent out a message to his young teammates as well.

“My experience can ultimately win in this scenario,” Kisner said when asked about the evening’s festivities. “There is nothing that any of these can do that can hang with me tonight, I promise you.”

“I have never seen a better display of golfers and a worse display of partiers, and I am the best partier on this board. Amen,” he added. “That’s why they picked me. I got half a point, but I brought the fun.”
