World No.8 golfer Max Homa brutally trolls NBA legend LeBron James for his golf-swinging posture on social media. Homa who often critiques NBA player’s swing, took a jab at one of the greatest athletes in the world in the latest Instagram video.
He roasted James stating, “That’s a tough scene for King James”. James who is often said to have played well in any sport not only in the NBA but maybe as a tight end in the NFL too, seems to have a weaker side in golf. Homa humorously notes, “I’m starting to get why no one’s ever mentioned him playing golf professionally.”
Max Homa further dived down saying he has seen this on Instagram before and it “always warms my heart”. However, Homa was not the only one to take a jab at the legend. Many NBA fans also trolled the star for his golf swing on X. One noted, “Man…he needs to stop now why he is still ahead. ???”.

Max Homa rates NBA player’s golf swings
As per Golf Digest, Max Homa was asked about his thoughts on LA Lakers Austin Reaves, who thinks he’s the best golfer in the NBA. Homa after watching his swing praised the player saying “That was pure, I can’t roast him.”

However, one must not forget about Warriors Steph Curry who has played golf tournaments at high levels and is often seen on the greens competing. Homa said although he’s a big Reaves fan, one has to “play professional golf to top Steph for me.”
He called Steph Curry’s golf skills “incredible” and even recalled his one shot under the Korn Ferry Tournament. He also talked about Chris Paul saying there’s no doubt “he loves golf” and he “loves those celebrity pro-am type things.”
Homa was impressed by the effort and skills the NBA stars showcased on the greens, other than James it seems. For James, Homa had sound advice to work on it a bit more, despite the star being one of the GOATs in his league. With 2024 already on the run, professional golf tournaments will also begin.
Fans are waiting to see Homa out on the fields again. Currently, Homa is scheduled to play at Capital One’s The Match on Monday at The Park at West Palm Beach with Rory McIlroy, Rose Zhang, and Lexi Thompson.
