They could even get an whole episode dedicated to them featuring the struggles of Thomas, McIlroy’s near misses or the rise of Bradley in the events of the tour.
Netflix also tried to maximize the profit on the success of this series by organizing the first ever live sporting event in November 2023, The Netflix Cup. It was a one-off television event by Netflix which featured a match between pro golfers and Formula 1 drivers.
This event took place at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas with professional like Max Homa, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and F1 drivers took part in it. In short this event brought the stars from Netflix’s series ‘Drive to Survive’ and ‘Full Swing’.
