The golfer turned social media influencer Paige Spiranac is one of the most popular celebrities around the world of golf. Voted as “World’s Sexiest Woman” earlier this year has now shared a unique idea that can change the game of golf.
Golf influencer loves to interact with his fans through her Podcasts and keeps on making news every now and then. Additionally, the former American golfer discussed how she thinks the game of golf could be improved.
Paige Spiranac wants golf to follow Aramco golf events
Paige Spiranac talked about a new format in which men and women could play golf together in her recent podcast episode, “Playing A Round with Paige Renee.”
She stated that her idea was ideal for the improvement of golf and that equality has been lacking in the sport for a long time as she thinks Golf is a man-dominated sport. Spiranac compared the Aramco golf event to LIV Golf and stressed this idea should be promoted in the near future.
“They have these Aramco events. So it’s basically it’s funded by the same people. It’s the same thing. Alison Lee is one of them. Lindsey Weaver, Amy Bolden. I mean, it’s a good crew of women. That’d be fire. If you get them together and do like a team event then you can do like a mixed alternate shot.”
Earlier this week she also took a sly dig at Greg Norman, the CEO of LIV Golf. The social media star has expressed gratitude to the rebel league for allowing its players to participate in the events in shorts.
Spiranac then made a joke about Norman and talked about the Tour’s decision to let golfers wear shorts while competing.
“No shorts. Like they’re doing shorts. Sounds like well, no shorts. Have a tank tops. Like let’s really push the dress code. pop top. Yeah, shorts”. “Don’t even work clothes. Why wear clothes? Why does Greg Norman even need to wear clothes?” She further added, “Call him the hammerhead shark”
