Following the massive statement by Alan Shipnuck regarding Jon Rahm‘s move to LIV Golf being a done deal, Phil Mickelson has hit back at him. The golf author in his tweet claimed that ‘the Lefty’ had been telling his close ones that Rahm’s move to LIV Golf is done.

Mickelson and Shipnuck have been at war with each other for a while now. The writer even released a book on Mickelson with the title, ‘Phil: The Rip-Roaring (and Unauthorised!) Biography of Golf’s Most Colorful Superstar,’ in 2022. Even in his new book, he has discussed things about the golfer.

In his latest tweet, Shipnuck called out Mickelson and labeled him as a “relentless statement/b****** artist.” Mickelson, who had blocked Shipnuck on X, would find the tweet through the account named NUCLR Golf. He would reply to this development while calling his nemesis “the worst liar and a pathetic human.”

These words from Mickelson now draw up even more speculations regarding the move of Rahm. He had previously claimed that many golfers are open to joining them at the 54-hole circuit and with the league introducing a transfer window in 2024, this has made this even more interesting.

There is no denying that Alan Shipnuck and Phil Mickelson have been at war with each other for a long. After the golf writer dropped a huge statement regarding Phil Mickelson and Jon Rahm, the American golfer hit back at him. However, the 50-year-old author decided to answer back and clap back at him through a different tweet.

Following their endless fight, Mickelson had blocked Shipnuck from his socials. The writer would acknowledge that he has been blocked by him. He also claimed that Mickelson has probably tweeted something. In the tweet, he would warn the others about the words Mickelson uses.

I guess Phil tweeted at me? I wouldn’t know since he’s blocked me in a classic tough-guy move. But we all know that what he says publicly and privately are *very* different.

All of this started when several reports emerged that the two-time major champion was in conversations with the LIV officials. As per several reports, a huge sum of $600 million is being prepared to offer Rahm and make him their latest big signing.

The only person who can now answer this speculation is Rahm and his representative team. So far, none of them have responded to any of this, but the way this is developing, an update in the future could be on its way.
