The recent announcement of the LIV Golf Series has got caught up in quite the stir of controversy, as the Saudi backed golf series has attracted the attention of many. Among these golfers include Phil Mickelson, Ian Poulter, Dustin Johnson and Kevin Na to name a few.

The PGA Tour has threatened disciplinary action for any golfer who changes to the LIV Series. However, golfers have found support with Greg Norman who has aligned with the tour and has promised to back all the golfers that make the switch from the PGA Tour to the LIV Series.

He started off by firstly apologising for any hurtful words that he has said in the past. He also said that a self reflection on his career has now given him the motivation to start doing what he loves. “I realise I still have a long way to go, but I am embracing the work ahead,” he said in a statement.
