“What the f*ck was with Phil Mickelson?”: Paige Spiranac left confused by golfer’s appearance at LIV Golf Series

The recent LIV Golf Series has caused quite the controversy and tension in the golfing world, as golfers are seen making a brave shift away from the PGA Tour. With the inaugural event already held in London in early June, people have quite a lot to say about it and the defectors who decided to play in it. Amongst such people, Paige Spiranac had quite the thing to say about Phil Mickelson during his first appearance at the LIV Series.

Spiranac has played division 1 golf, and has won honours over the 2012–13 and 2013–14 season. Mickelson on the other hand, just came out of a self imposed hiatus to play at the LIV Series. As they discussed the LIV Golf Series withe each other, “He literally took that don’t blink thing to heart,” the golf analyst Amanda Rose said. “He also showed up looking like a guy that just got divorced. Your (Mickelson’s) hair and your beard don’t match,” Rose further added. “Like shave it or dye the beard. You got to do one or the other.”

Phil was also seen wearing the Augusta National pullover at the event. However, it had been blacked out for the event. “The first day, Paige, I don’t know if you saw this, but he had on an Augusta pullover. Like a vest with a logo… with the Augusta logo on it.”  Between the Augusta wear and the old man look, Mickelson surely had a lot going on in June.
