As LIV Golf prepares itself for their second event of the season, the name of Phil Mickelson has come under the spotlight. This comes after the golfer dropped a wild claim and said he had made a staggering forty-seven (47) hole-in-ones in his career.
As the name suggests, a hole-in-one is an achievement when a golfer finishes a hole with just one stroke. Usually this feat takes place at par-3 holes. Mickelson has now claimed that he has accomplished this feat 47 times in his three-decade career.

The Saudi-backed tour recently held a rapid-fire survey with Mickelson and other players. In this, several questions were thrown at “The Lefty“. During this survey, the golfers were asked about their number of hole-in-ones.
While this might seem as a simple question, the answer of Mickelson stunned everyone. He would say 47 and proceed to answer the next question. This has now sparked debate on social media with users wondering whether this is actually true or not. This could also been seen as one area where Mickelson triumphs over his rival, Tiger Woods, who has 20 aces to his name.
