There is one thing that made him question if he should defend the titles he earned last year. The Pieters family is graced with a good news which might just enlighten your daily golf feed.

The Belgian golfer, Thomas Pieters secured his two-stroke victory after two years in the HSBC Abu Dhabi Championship in January. He has six victories in the European circuit as of now and it’s beyond a doubt that the fans are awaiting another one this season. But his announcement hasn’t disappointed the fans as the reason is way more pleasant.

Baby Pieters is about to arrive, and Thomas looks forward to being by his partner’s side, therefore having to ditch the Masters. “Due to the imminent arrival of Baby Pieters I won’t be able to defend my Portugal Masters title this week,” – Pieters wrote on social media, adding, “Time for some more doo-doo in my life.” His picture with the trophy has fans secretly looking forward to his return, but the Baby Pieters’ arrival is as thrilling. Thomas Pieters is the father to a baby girl currently.

The gush of wishes came in right after the announcement by Thomas Pieters with fans wishing all the best to both the player and his partner. They pored in love for him and congratulations to the child. The DP World Tour and the 35th ranking will definitely await the player’s reappearance after the break.

Stefanie Van Steen and Thomas’s second child coming shall be the second time when Thomas Pieters had to pause his career. Then girlfriend Stefanie fell pregnant, while the Tokyo Olympics were meant to be. In an interview at the time, Thomas said, “It was a terrible coincidence for the baby to come during the Olympics,” he said, before smiling: “Now it’s all good.”

Later he also added, “It’s been lovely especially with my girlfriend being pregnant, being at home with her, supporting her. I’d love to be back playing tournaments but you do realize there is other stuff.” He definitely will be back again more like the last time after the much cherished moments once again on his cards.
