Golf is one of the most frustrating sports to play, especially when it comes to matters of accuracy and putting the hole in the ball. However, if golf officials decide to put golf holes in unreachable places it can be a nightmare.

This nightmare came true for the girls of the Iowa 3A girls state golf tournament, who found themselves in a twisted situation. In a surprise, the average score on the 18th hole at the River Valley Golf Course on Saturday was a quadruple boogey. The golfers were not bad at all, it was the placement of the hole that was on a large hill.

After this, the girls had only two options, putt the ball directly into the hole, or watch it roll all the way off the green. To the dismay of these girls, several of them missed by just one or two inches, and watch their dreams of winning the championship roll away. Neither the girls, nor Twitter was really amused by the pin hole location.
