The world of golf has been itching to get another glimpse of Woods since his injury and withdrawal from the Masters in April this year. The two are not only good friends on and off the pitch but are also business partners in the TGL.
The Northern Irishman recently opened up about his admiration and appreciation towards Woods. He would add how the golf veteran has taught him some things that he thinks that he only shares with him and only his son Charlie or close friend Justin Thomas.
“He’s showing me some things that I don’t know if he’s showing anyone else but Charlie. Maybe JT as well,” McIlroy said while appearing on the Golf Weekly podcast. The praises for Woods did not stop here as the 2022 FedEx Cup winner continued to share some more insights regarding him.

The two have been spotted numerous times having a warm conversation when on the greens and maintaining close contact outside of it as well. The 34-year-old golf star once again applauded Woods and claimed that he is a nerd in golf.
The 15-time major champion was fond of golf from a very young age. He knows everything about everything,” McIlroy said before adding Woods watches everything and loves the game.
