The most interesting part of the event probably came when Serena Williams decided to show off her golf swing on the range. The tennis player showed off her other skills- her forehand but in a different manner. One of the greatest tennis players of all time, of course Williams had an impressive hand.
Taking place over 2 years, the series has managed to cover everything it can in 2021 and 2022. This also brings to life the uphill battle that has begun over the years- the birth of the Saudi backed LIV Series, LIV Golf. The Series split the golf world in 2, with defectors, loyalists and a whole lot of opinions.
“It’s arguably the most exciting, controversial, and crazy year that the PGA Tour’s ever had,” said one of the featured golfers Justin Thomas. “And, you know, Netflix and everybody around the world is going to get a front-row seat to it.” Things from the inside however has managed to provide a much more intense view of the series.
From tragedies to triumphs, the series captures it all. From laughter in victory, to tears in defeat these golfers have been through it all. Ian Poulter, Pat Perez, Rory McIlroy – you name it. “The golfers give an insight into life like no other. And as you see from the show, I mean, it paid off. He won a major in historic fashion, and we were there the whole time to see every piece of it.” said Mumm.
