The fascinating tales regarding the legendary Tiger Woods are countless. The golf GOAT has emerged as one of the greatest athletes of all time and will go down as a marquee figure in the future. He is one of the most successful golfers of all time, tied with another Hall of Famer, Sam Snead for the most PGA Tour wins. Woods has notched 82 PGA Tour victories in his grand career. However, his 2018 Tour Championship triumph would remain one of his finest.
With the Tour Championship about to take place to determine the FedEx Cup champion, it is hard to not look back at the triumphs of Woods. His victory at the East Lake in 2018 almost brought him to tears as he picked up win number 80.
The win meant more for Woods because this broke his five-year drought for a title. It may sound strange but Woods had endured some difficult phases during the 2010s and this was one of them. Even for someone like Woods, the taste of victory cannot sound much sweeter than that. He would finish the event with a final round score of 71, finishing two strokes ahead of Billy Horschel.

MJ is one of the most popular figures in basketball history. Woods would accomplish what he hoped for, claiming numerous majors, completing a “Tiger Slam” and etching history. He though thinks that his Tour Championship win in 2018 was the sweetest.
As Woods walked up to the 18th hole, the sense of something incredible happening had kicked in. While he walked down for his final putt, the supporters present lost their minds and started walking along with them. Woods would recall this moment as “All hell broke loose“. “All of a sudden it gets really loud behind us. And I look back and there are people coming under the ropes and the cops are trying to organize people, so they don’t rush us,” the golfer said.
Woods would later claim that he tried not to cry after his winning put. The iconic commentary piece of “Tiger Woods, a winner again,” leaves the fans emotional. The chants of “Tiger” would break down soon after his win as Woods savored the incredible moment.
Unfortunately, he will not be taking part this year due to his injuries. Whether he will ever win again also remains to be seen. He will though go down as someone who saw it and won it all.
