Tiger Woods is easily considered to be one of the greatest golfers of all time. But along with his fame and 15 Major titles also came his fair share of issues. The public eye is not easy to keep out of, and that has been evident throughout Woods’ life. It has been almost 7 years since Woods’ and Lindsey Vonn broke off their relationship, but the former Olympic skier said that the two are still on very good terms.

“We are friends and, of course, I’m happy that he is back and healthy,” Vonn said according to NY Post. But Vonn also talked about how difficult it was to maintain a public relationship with Woods because of a constant eye on them. Vonn said that it was quite hard to date someone who was constantly in the public eye and even though she was an open person, there were always some things that needed to be kept private.

“And as much as I did want to share everything that makes me happy and all the fun times that I had, that’s also just for me and my partner, and I didn’t need to share that. So it’s difficult, obviously, being in this position because everyone wants a scoop and everyone wants to know what I’m doing,” said Vonn.

Vonn said that she was just happy that Tiger Woods was back spending time with his children. “The fact that I’m able to have this opportunity this year — even a couple weeks ago we didn’t really know whether or not I would be doing this,” Woods said in December following the tournament. “But here we are. And we had just best time ever,” quipped Vonn.
