A glimpse into Tiger Woods’ awe-inspiring navy-style workout that he once used to follow
When Woods joined the PGA Tour, it did not take time for people to notice that he had an athletic swing speed that wasn’t seen in the world of golf ever before. In 2020, a video of the American golfer’s old navy-style workout during which he ran continuously for miles each training day, gave a glimpse of how he got those superpowers.
Woods has achieved almost everything in golf and is in fact, one of the most celebrated sports superstars in history. Based on some of his workout videos and by his own confession, Woods’ daily routine included a four-mile jog, lifting weights at the gym, followed by 2-3 hours of range practice, playing golf, putting practice, running another four miles and then sometimes even playing basketball or tennis.
However, the golfer suffered a lot of knee injuries apparently due to the same grueling workout routine, something that he himself admitted and even regretted in later years.
“I’m not doing any of that now,” Woods said in a video then released by the PGA Tour.
Among Woods’ greatest achievements lies his election to the World Golf Hall of Fame. Woods has won more than 79 PGA tournaments, which is a record in itself. He has additionally won an abundance of different championships such as 18 world golfing championships and 14 pro majors!
