The excitement level for golf fans is increasing with each day passing. This upcoming Thursday, several golfers will take part in the Hero World Challenge in Albany, Bahamas. One of the names that will dominate this list is host Tiger Woods, who will mark his return to golf after nearly seven months.
Since his car crash in 2021, Woods has seen his game time reduced by a significant amount. The golf great would suffer multiple leg injuries and need surgeries to get back in shape. After that incident, he has continued to struggle with his knee and lower body parts.
This return on November 30 would also mark his first competitive start since the Masters in April. Having made the cut at the Augusta National, the five-time Masters champion had to withdraw from the event as he suffered a knee surgery. He would undergo a subtalar fusion surgery.
How will he do in this event after sitting out for almost half a year is something everyone is waiting to see. One thing for sure is that he has got the crowd excited.
Dr. Jim Afremow, the author of “The Champion’s Mind: How Great Athletes Think, Train, and Thrive,” showed off his excitement while posting a quote from Woods on his official X account.

Dan Rapaport thrilled for Tiger Woods’ return at Hero World Challenge
The major thing on the minds of every golf fan is the return of Tiger Woods. While not everyone is a huge fan of him, almost everyone has respected him for his incredible career and the success that he has achieved. TV personality Dan Rapaport has also showed off his excitement while sharing an update on his X account.
The festive period across the US has well and truly kicked in. While Christmas may be just a few weeks away, the country recently celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday. For this occasion, several people came together to have a nice time with their families.
Rapaport was also one of those who took part in this festival. He has now boarded the plane back home and is getting excited to see Woods play golf again. He took to his X account to show off his feelings while anticipating the return of the golfer. Sports writer Dan Rapaport stated on Tiger Woods’ return:
"Boarding the plane back home which marks the end of Thanksgiving weekend. It’s officially Tiger Woods return week."
The 47-year-old golf legend though will not have it easy in the tournament as several big names will be waiting to battle him. Among them, Viktor Hovland is likely to give him a hard time as he will enter the event as a two-time defending champion. Will the Norwegian be successful in three-peating the tournament or will someone else including Woods dethrone him? All the questions will be unanswered in the upcoming days.
