The long career of golf legend Tiger Woods has seen a lot of success and failures. He has been a part of this since the young age of two. The 15-time major champion has many times credited his father, Earl Woods for this. The golf legend once hilariously revealed to the viewers that his life peaked at the age of 11.

In December 2022, Woods was seen attending the Tiger Woods Foundation Junior Invitational. During the event, he would join the young upcoming golfers pass out his expert advice, and work as a mentor. He would also get involved in a Q&A with the kids. In this one of the kids would ask how old was he when he started playing and how many tournaments had he won.

The response from Woods stunned the crowd. He technically did not answer the question but shared an interesting story regarding his past and his achievements at a young age. He would start off by disclosing how his mother made him donate all the 113 trophies he had won when he turned 12. The golfer further added he had a great time that summer as he continued to dominate the playing field.

Tiger Woods has accomplished a lot of things in his career. From dominating victories to multiple major wins, he has done it all. He has broken several records ever since he was a kid. At the age of 14, he once prophesied that he wanted to be the Michael Jordan of golf. This type of confidence in him came through his stunning performances from a young age. He once revealed that the summer when he was 12, he went undefeated and this was where his life had peaked.

When I was 11 my life peaked. I got straight A’s. I got outstanding for effort and participation,” the five-time Masters champion recalled. He continued, “I won 36 tournaments that summer. I went 36-0. And I think I had the cutest girlfriend at that time. So yes, life peaked at 11.”

Since then there has been no looking back for Woods. He would go on to become the youngest player to achieve three wins on the PGA Tour. This record stood for a long time until Tom Kim recently matched that. In his everlasting career, he has won multiple majors and is an 82-time PGA Tour winner, signaling his status as one of the greatest to ever grace the field.

At the moment, Woods is recovering from his knee surgery and gearing up for this return. He could likely make his grand return next month at the Hero World Challenge.
