There is no doubt that the pressure is certainly on the shoulders of Charlie Woods. Being the son of one of golf’s greatest player Tiger Woods does come with a heavy prize. If Charlie is successful in getting through the four pre-qualifying stages and earn his place in the Cognizant Classic, he will make his official PGA Tour debut at the age of 15. Woods on the other hand was 16 when he made his debut on the tour.

Charlie has previously competed in unofficial events of the PGA Tour alongside his father at the PNC Championship. In the recent edition, the father-son duo finished fifth in the rankings. Not only did he show similar mannerism to Woods but also showcased the same humor as him with five-word message to sum up their performance at the event.

Apart from this, the young Woods finished tied 17th in the boys’ 14-15 division of last year’s Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship, while his father acted as a caddie for him. Only time will now tell how the young prodigy will perform in the qualifier against the seniors golfers.
