The 2022 Presidents Cup has gotten off to a cracking start. The excitement over teams has been building for quite the while, and the International team is looking to take a win over the US Team. In what seems to be a David and Goliath situation, the International team is definitely holding its own.
Tom Kim managed to breathe life into a struggling International team after taking a fantastic win. The 20-year-old, along with Adam Scott, went on win 3 very crucial points for the International team. This will allow them to have a shot at the win after trailing 11-7 to the US Team.
The debut has been a dream for Tom Kim, who at a very young age has secured glory for himself. His shot going into the final putt was such a great one, the even the US Team crowd could not help but gasp in awe at his skill. Immelman himself was extremely proud of the youngster for showing up.

“To me, that’s impressive stuff,” International captain Trevor Immelman said according to Golf Channel. “No matter who you’re rooting for, that made my heart warm right there.” The sheer celebration between the International team was a moment to remember as they all broke out in applause.
“I was looking over that putt,” said Kim, “and I wanted it more than anything in the world. I would have done anything for that to go in.” And go in it did, as the International team perseveres on at the 2022 Presidents Cup.
