Ryder Cup winner Tommy Fleetwood really seemed to have flown 30,000 feet to make an incredible hole-in-one shot in Dubai. But how much of that was real? Maybe Tiger Woods got his new rival spot stolen following GOAT’s Burj Al Arab helipad shots. But unfortunately, all hail to CGI effects.

In the video, Fleetwood was seen prepping for his ultimate career shot from high up in the clouds from a cargo plane flying over the Emirate. The jaw-dropping feat was chased by a parachute guy who was all ready to dive down from 30,000 feats.

The skydiver tracked the flying golf ball all the way from its descent to the hole at Dubai Creek resort, to check the ball sliding down the hole. The congratulatory tune was heard all over, and although it was a fake attempt, the video was cool in itself. It’s fun to watch a new narrative by the DP World Tour X account. Fans seemed to have loved the video simultaneously, although there were some mixed reactions.

Fleetwood said that experience was pretty neat and it was worth seeing “it’s gone down pretty well, got a lot of views.” In a comment, one X user noted, “Such an incredible shot that it defied the laws of physics.” He further talked about his experience following the first round of the ongoing Genesis Invitational,

Yeah, I guess he just was doing a collaboration with the DP World Tour and I was the lucky one who got to go through the whole process of making something really cool.

Unlike Tommy Fleetwood’s CGI effects 30,000 feat shot, Tiger Woods once designed an iconic moment of launching golf balls from 210 meters above sea level into the Arabian Gulf. Among the legend’s iconic moments of his career, this one hits differently. Those who witnessed the shot can never forget the moment as well as fans who witnessed it on different social media accounts.
