LIV Golf Teams
The LIV Golf Series has certainly caused quite the controversy since its inception a few months ago. Now, the series is in full swing, and that to with a rather impressive line up for their fourth event of the year. The Boston event to be held is at The International, which about 45 minutes west of Boston. LIV Golf takes off next week because of the European tour flagship event at Wentworth in England, and then returns on 16th to 18th September to the Chicago suburbs.
With Smith’s addition, LIV Golf now has 26 of the world’s top 100 golfers- which is an impressive achievement for such a new Series. The field for the series and now even the teams are set, and it is very strong to say the least.
Regardless of what people think of LIV, it has risen well up the ranks to now have some big and respectable names in golf, making it a competitive league. The field for the Boston event will comprise of Cameron Smith, Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, Pat Perez and Harold Varner III to just name a few of the golfers who will be seen at the event.
People are questioning the team line ups of the LIV Golf Series
Twitter was rather confused with some of the teams that had been created. Fans were also amused, or rather bemused, with the team names. Some fans were also questioning how the teams were made, while the others were quick to dismiss this new league as a pointless one. Names include, Aces QC, Cleeks GC, GC Crushers and Torque GC to name a few.
