“I don’t need no practice” – Brooks Koepka, the only golfer who had the audacity to DISMISS Tiger Woods

Having achieved everything possible in the world of golf, there are few that can refuse Tiger Woods when he asks them for a favor. But once Woods made an offer that another Godfather from the golfing world did refuse, that too by ghosting him!

It was the time before the 2019 Open Tournament and Woods hadn’t had a good practice leading up to the inaugural rounds. He texted another veteran golfer and his compatriot on the PGA Tour, Brooks Koepka, who to the surprise of Woods, never replied back.

In fact, Ricky Elliott, Koepka’s caddie was someone who could have provided real insights for Woods at the time, having grown up at the venue where the Open Championships were held in 2019, the Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.

Later, when confronted with Woods’ concern by reporters in a press conference, Koepka had a rather funny explanation to his tacturnity. The American golfer explained that he doesn’t practice before regular tournaments like these. Watch the clip below:

Koepka has been successful on the golf course and in his love journey as well, having recently tied the knot with actress Jena Sims, whom he started dating in 2017.

However, the ultimate love surprise for both Koepka and his fans came recently in June when Sims surprised Koepka by embossing one of her lingerie modelling photos inside his wedding jacket, that too just a day before the nuptial ceremony! “I had a whole night (brooks wasn’t home!) and did a shoot with @slimshayedy @jessicalindsayglam @sarahannahsims for the images printed on the inside of brooks’ jacket,”  Sims wrote.

Koepka was one of the big names who recently switched to LIV golf, the Saudi-backed rebel league that has put the PGA in a bothersome spot.
