Scottie Scheffler is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He was ranked World’s No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking and won the 2022 Masters Tournament. Scottie started his golf career at a very young age and enjoyed a prolific career. During his junior playing years, he won 75 times in the PGA Junior Circuit. In 2019 he won the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. Later he was named Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year. 

He won several recognitions in his career including the WM Phoenix Open, and Arnold Palmer Invitational for the second time. In 2022, he was ranked as the World’s Number 1. He won the Masters Tournament after defeating Rory McIlory on April 10, 2022. He became the 5th golfer to enter the master’s tournament ranked number 1. He is married to his longtime girlfriend Meridith Scudder. His personal life has been quite talked about on the internet.

Scottie Scheffler married his girlfriend Meridith Scudder in December 2020 at Arlington Hall in Dallas, Texas. He was always on a roll since he started on the golf ground, but things have been on another level after his marriage. On various occasions, he mentioned how his wife has played a crucial role in his success. The couple is always seen on the golf course, where Meridith cheered for her hubby from the sidelines, as per golfmagic.com. Meredith and Scottie can be called high school sweethearts. They were together for more or less six years when they tied knots.

They both grew up in Texas and met at Highland Park High School. Though they both got into different universities they kept in touch and met mostly every day. In June 2020 Scottie proposed to Meredith at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve where he got to hear a “yes” in return. Meredith has been quite a supporter of Scottie. She even held his bags during the fun Par-3 Contest. They took Instagram as their platform to share good news and updates about their relationship. Fortunately, the couple has not been involved in any scandals till now.
