Australia’s Cameron Smith started 2020 with a bang after clinching the Sentry Tournament of Champions title at Kapalua’s Plantation Course. His compatriot Matt Jones finished third while Spanish golfer and world number one in PGA rankings, Jon Rahm secured the second spot.
With his iconic victory, Smith earned the biggest single payday of his career, taking home a massive prize money payout of $1.476 million from an overall purse of $8.2 million. On the other hand, the other golfers also bagged a decent amount on Saturday.
