Ryder Cup 2021 Live Stream, Schedule and Teams
Ryder Cup
Ryder Cup 2021 begins this week at the Whistling Straits in the United States of America. The intercontinental cup returns to the US after five years and the American fans are eager to see their team reclaim the cup for Team Europe. The last Ryder Cup held in the United States was in 2016, and it was also the last time the U.S. won the event.
The previous edition of the Ryder Cup, which took place in France back in 2018, saw the hosts come out on top 17.5-10.5. The Ryder Cup is far from typical PGA Tour events. A win gives the team one point and a tie sees the teams get half a point each.
The first event of the competition is the foursome where two-man teams play one ball and alternate hitting shots. The second event is the four-ball where each member of a two-man team plays his own ball. The lowest of the two scores of each team is considered to decide the winner. The third day of the competition witnesses all 24 players on each team face off in 12 singles matches.
