Chase Briscoe who drives the No.14 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing competing full-time in the Cup Series has recently faced the disturbing wrath of a fan who made inhuman comments on the driver’s post after he cost the Richard Childress Racing No.8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver Tyler Reddick the Cup at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Chase Briscoe has had a pretty decent outing this season and has also emerged triumphant at the Ruoff Mortgage 500 hosted at Phoenix Raceway and was on his quest for a second victory this season at Bristol Motor Speedway as a last-lap collision with the leader Tyler Reddick sent both of them out of the contenders for the win.
Reddick managed to finish 2nd but Briscoe dropped to 22nd hurting his place in the standings. Meanwhile when Briscoe tweeted his reaction to a BTS video ahead of the Geico 500 to which a very upset fan replied with a very off-putting tweet despite Briscoe taking full responsibility post the Food City Dirt Race.
“Better check your mirrors at Talladega,” responded the fan to Chase Briscoe’s tweet
Chase Briscoe posted a BTS tweet of his team post the Bristol race to which a very distraught fan tweeted in reply asking if he’s scared prior to the Geico 500 and urged him to keep checking his back at Talladega hoping payback isn’t going to get the better of him and ended it saying that if Briscoe is fatally injured, he deserves it.
“One day to go Chase, getting nervous??,” the fan wrote. “Better check your mirrors at Talladega and pray payback isn’t coming. I’m not picky, on your lid, in the catch fence, straight into the wall. It all works for me!!” tweeted the fan.
Chase Briscoe was unfortunately involved in a lethal first-stage crash leaving him disqualified in the Geico 500. Briscoe then tweeted that it was a huge mishap and that he’s fine thanking everyone who made sure he was fine also adding if the fan got what he wanted.
“Big wreck, all good just sore, thanks to everyone for checking in on me. Got your wish,” tweeted Chase Briscoe.
“Sorry it affected you that much,” replied Chase Briscoe after his crash at Talladega to the fan’s tweet
Chase Briscoe then received a reply from the fan stating that he was very content looking at it and still wasn’t satisfied with what he did to Tyler Reddick also adding that if Tyler never wins a race, Briscoe would be the reason and hoped that Chase Briscoe never wins a race again.
“Yes, that was nice to see, but it still doesn’t make up for what you did to Tyler. If he never wins a Cup race, you will be the reason why. Hope you never win another Cup race!!!” tweeted the fan.
Chase Briscoe replied with an apology to the fan and wanted to make it up to him by sending him a signed hat.
“Sorry it affected you that much, let me know if you want a signed hat for all the heartache I created for you,” replied Chase Briscoe.
The fan then insensibly replied asking Briscoe for the signed hat in return for reassessing his views on the driver.
“You send me a signed hat and I’ll reconsider the kind of guy you are,” replied the fan.
Chase Briscoe didn’t reply to this tweet but several other fans called out the fan for his utter disregard and his desire to see Chase Briscoe hurt which shouldn’t happen that often.
