Complications

Description

This is one of the first missions of the game. In this mission, our favorite characters Michael and Franklin meet for the first time. This mission is based around Franklin repoing cars for his boss Simeon Yetarian. In this mission, Franklin sneaks into a fancy house and drives a yellow SUV out of the garage and back to Simeon Yetarian.

Halfway through the mission, Michael pulls up his gun from the back seat and points at Franklin and orders him to drive the car into the dealership. IThis mission ends up with Franklin cutting ties with Simeon Yetarian. Michael also beats up Simeon in this mission. This is where the bond between Michael and Franklin started to build.

The Jewel Score

Description

In this mission, Michael gets back a taste of his young days when he used to pull off amazing heists. In this mission, players get a first taste of what heists are like in the game. This mission also includes preparing for the heists in partly missions and choosing their crew. 

In this mission, Michael and Franklin can rob the jewelry store by either posing as a fumigation company after they knock everyone out with sleeping gas (“Smart” approach) or by approaching it head-on as an old-fashion stick-up robbery (“Loud” approach). Players get the option to pursue the mission either way. After listening to the plan you have to choose either option on the chalkboard. After the robbery players also have to drive away quickly from the cops.

Crystal Maze

Description

This is one of the most coolest and badass missions in the game. This mission further solidifies the quote “Cool Guys Don’t Look at Explosions“. In this mission, players get their hands on the coolest character in the game, Trevor. In Crystal Maze, Trevor goes after the O’Neil brothers. After the O’Neil brothers steal Trevor’s business, Trevor takes out every last one of them.

This is yet another shootout mission in a game where players must kill all the targets after them but Trevor blows up the O’Neil brothers’ house at the very end of the mission. That alone sets this mission ahead of any other shootout mission in any other game.

The Big Score

Description

In the game, Michael and Trevor have always dreamed of pulling off the big one, robbing the Union Depository. With Franklin by their side, they get to execute the big job. There are two different ways to approach this mission as well.

One of them is being as subtle as you can, posing as individuals who are in charge of driving around the gold bars and pretending to just be doing another load. The other one involves a fake hold-up in the front of the Union Depository while a drill underground breaks through the walls and gets all the gold.

The heist is stealthy at first but becomes high-action after the police find out about their heist.

The Third Way

Description

This is the final mission every gamer and this legendary game deserved. Gamers get the choice on how they want the game to end, with Franklin have to kill either Michael or Trevor. But the best and most exciting choice is picking the third way. The three of them team up to take out many of the adversaries that have tortured them throughout the game.

It starts with a shoot-out with the FIB and Merryweather and ends with each character taking out one person at a time individually. When it’s all said and done, they all work together to end the life of one more character who has been one of the biggest troublemakers since he was introduced in the game.
