The initiative to host WrestleMania in London has picked up a lot of steam over the past few months. Although fans have been clamoring for London for years, the movement really started after Money In The Bank 2023 due to the O2 Arena’s highly electric crowd. While John Cena himself talked about the possibility of such an idea, Grayson Waller doesn’t seem to be on board.

The Aussie Icon recently expressed his thoughts on social media about hosting WrestleMania in London. He used the puke emoji while considering the Square Mile as a potential location. The post on X was further attached with the ‘disgusted’ meme from Forrest Gump.

This brutal jab came as a response to a statement by Sadiq Khan, the current Mayor of London. The politician mentioned that the city was already the sporting capital of the world. As such, if he were to get re-elected, he promised to bring more notable sporting events, including WrestleMania, to the English capital.

This isn’t the first time that Waller has commented on the matter. He interrupted John Cena‘s promo about hosting WrestleMania in London at Money in the Bank. Since then, he has been pushing for the Showcase of Immortals to be hosted in his home country of Australia. Despite the Aussie not being on board with the idea, Triple H did seem interested in talking with the Mayor of London.

Grayson Waller calls himself the Tom Brady of WWE ahead of the upcoming Draft

Grayson Waller recently uploaded a video talking about his journey on the main roster. He revealed that getting called up from NXT can be the most exciting night for a wrestler. However, this was not the case for him. He waited around for two nights, waiting to be drafted to either Raw or SmackDown. As a result, the Aussie was chosen as the last pick, making him ‘Mr. Irrelevant.’

While this took a hit to his ego, the 34-year-old claimed that it put a big chip on his shoulder. This is what led him to become the Tom Brady of WWE. Since the Draft, he has achieved a lot on the main roster. The Aussie Icon has gone on to host the number one talk show in WWE. Moreover, he made his main roster in-ring debut against Adam “Edge” Copeland at MSG. In fact, he has also main-evented both Raw and SmackDown

The Dynamite from Down Under also mentioned standing in front of legends and Hall of Famers week after week. After a memorable year, he got his hands on some gold alongside his teammate Austin Theory at WrestleMania. Contrary to last year, he has been locked in the WWE Draft, as Smackdown has kept the prized possession of the Tag Team Championships on the brand.
