The latest episode of SmackDown featured Braun Strowman appearing as a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect. The former WWE Tag Team Champions called out their guest for the night. The former Universal Champion seemed to be in the festive spirit as he came out dressed as Santa Claus, chucking goodies into the crowd.
Waller and Theory were snarky about this gimmick, which Strowman didn’t appreciate. Therefore, the team moderated their tone. They pitched that they would be the brains, and he could be ‘Braun.’ The 41-year-old did not take this offer too kindly and was threatening them as Carmelo Hayes entered.
Hayes said that Nick Aldis thought he would become humbled after his match against Braun Strowman last week. However, the former Money in the Bank winner caught him off guard, and that is why he lost. He insulted his opponent further, which caused the giant to flip out, as he started destroying the stage.

After the show went off the air, Grayson Waller posted a photo of Strowman sitting on the toilet reading ‘Cat in the Hat’. Waller told the dirt sheets to use this photo and called Strowman a “giant idiot.” Further, Waller claimed Strowman had destroyed the set of an extremely handsome Australian talk show host.
Braun Strowman loses to Carmelo Hayes on the latest episode of SmackDown
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes was set to face a mystery opponent. Although the former NXT Champion was confident at first, he seemed a little tense after the opponent was revealed to be a returning Strowman. The Monster Among Men made quick work of his opponent, winning the match in under 90 seconds.
This week, Carmelo Hayes received a chance at revenge after getting to face the former Universal Champion once again. The two competitors started fighting outside the ring, and Strowman threw his opponent back into the ring. At the same time, the match official counted to ten, and the 30-year-old ended up winning the match by countout.
The ending of this match clearly hints that these two superstars are not done with each other. Several fans were upset last week that after Hayes’ incredible feud against Andrade and LA Knight, he was being fed to an already-established superstar. However, if the WWE does wish to push him further, he should come out at the end of this feud with a proper victory against Strowman.
