Stephen Curry is one of the all-time NBA greats. He has performed consistently for his side, the Golden State Warriors for over a decade. In his time with the Warriors, he has won 4 NBA titles with them. In fact, he was the main star in all of their success. Now, with Curry entering the last stages of his illustrious career, he seems more determined.

Interestingly, Curry still is closely matched with historic names that played the game. The Warriors star has to win more titles to solidify his status as the indisputable best in his position. He told the Dubs Talk Podcast that he remains driven to accomplish this. He stated that he is ‘more focused’ than ever to win another title before calling it a day.

Honestly, it’s the only thing (winning the 5th title) I’m really playing for at this point. It’s the only thing that matters in the sense of accomplishment.

In addition, Curry also stated that he is more ‘greedy’ than ever to win the fifth title with his Warriors side. That said, winning the fifth title will surely remain the icing on the cake for Curry and his glorious career.

You talk about five-time champions and beyond that. It’s a good place to start from, but I definitely want to get greedy.

This season, Curry is averaging 23.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists. Although his output is slightly lower, the Warriors’ team-oriented approach has allowed them to start the season with a 10-3 record and currently hold the top spot in the Western Conference.

Stephen Curry still making fans amazed in Year 15

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry continues to deliver season after season for his side. In their most recent matchup of his 15th season against the Atlanta Hawks, Curry showed his class. He dropped 23 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds on the Hawks. However, it was a particular play in the first quarter that shocked the NBA community.

As Curry had possession of the ball, he was tripped by a Hawks defender. He still made the shot and to everyone’s surprise, he scored. Along with the basket, he also drew in a foul. This amazed the crowd as they went on to cheer for the Warriors star. Aside from this, Curry remains focused on something ‘big’ in the later stages of his career: his fifth NBA title.

The four-time champion has time to claim ring No. 5. After all, he does not appear to slow down. His climb to the top would come to an end if the Warriors won another NBA Title over the next three years. Being the first and only player to earn the league’s MVP award by unanimous voting is possibly the most remarkable accomplishment Curry has made throughout his career.
