The way Wyatt Sicks debuted on Raw a few weeks ago was just unworldly. Since then, their on-screen presentation has primarily focused on underscoring the real-life elements intertwined with the characters. However, former Intercontinental Champion Gunther doesn’t seem to be on the board with the faction. While speaking to Gorilla Position, The Ring General alluded to it as a challenge for WWE CCO Triple H.

First and foremost, the Austrian elucidated that spookiness in general hasn’t been a genre to his liking. So it’s tough to judge something he doesn’t derive pleasure from, added Gunther. However, the Imperium leader underscored how the fans have taken immense interest in whatever those maniacs, inspired by the late, great Bray Wyatt, have done thus far.

The erstwhile Walter voiced concerns regarding the smooth transitioning of the supernatural act into something that resonates inside the squared circle as well. History’s proven that most of the spooky gimmicks couldn’t quite replicate their exploits when it boiled down to wrestling a formal match. But if there’s one man who can pull this off, it’s Triple H, claimed Gunther.

Next month, Gunther will be featured in the biggest match of his career till now. He’s set to take on Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. The two men haven’t had the chance to exchange blows with each other on the main roster.

This Monday on Raw, they’ll come face-to-face. And while The Ring General has had a dream run over the past year or so, Priest’s been on a roll as well since WrestleMania XL. Both of them are physically akin.

It might come down to who can hold their nerve in the clutch moments for the gold at SummerSlam. The former NXT UK Champion ousted Randy Orton for the King of the Ring crown to earn the right to battle The Archer of Infamy for the top prize on the red brand.
