Following the match, the World Heavyweight Champion was interviewed, where former Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett expressed his desire to join Imperium.

During the WWE Survivor Series post-show, Gunther said Wade Barrett could be a good addition to his faction. The 37-year-old elucidated that he and Ludwig Kaiser have admitted that Barrett could fit perfectly as the third member of the group. The two stars were getting along pretty nicely, as the 44-year-old also appreciated Gunther for his dominant reign so far.
