This week marked the beginning of the reign of Gunther. The Ring General kicked off Raw to celebrate his victory at SummerSlam, where he captured the World Heavyweight Championship. However, his celebration had an unexpected guest. The 14-time World Champion Randy Orton paid a visit to Raw and challenged the Austrian star to a match.

Gunther was addressing the crowd about how he was going to make his reign legendary. Out of nowhere, Randy Orton came down the aisle and reminded the former Intercontinental Champion about the referee’s mistake at King of the Ring in Saudi Arabia. The Imperium leader was not surprised by The Viper’s statement. The Legend Killer had a mission in his mind. He went on to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion to a rematch at Bash in Berlin.

The 36-year-old manfully accepted the challenge. He revealed that his match against Orton in the finals of KOTR was a stain on his legacy. Therefore, at Bash in Berlin, he is going to beat him clean and clear any asterisk next to his name. The two stars shook hands as they vowed to take each other down in just a matter of a few weeks in Germany.

Moreover, the Austrian Superstar is more confident than ever with the World Title on his shoulder. It is going to be interesting to see how things are going to transpire between him and the Apex Predator moving forward to their mega clash.
