The lavish 8-acre mansion that Patrick Mahomes purchased in Belton, Missouri, in 2020 recently became the target of robbers as they invaded the property at midnight on October 8. While the investigation is still ongoing, the superstar quarterback opened up about his family’s reaction to that frightening moment.
The news about the home burglary broke into the media more than a month later as the New York Post covered it, followed by People magazine on November 12, Tuesday. According to the police document, obtained by People, the officers arrived at Mahomes’ Belton mansion past midnight, at 12:08 after the house was already broken into.
While the Kansas City Chiefs star didn’t reveal the details, he addressed the home burglary at the Chiefs press conference on Wednesday.

Due to the obligations of the ongoing investigation, the three-time Super Bowl champion has refrained from talking about it. He also did not address the questions about whether he and his family, including his pregnant wife Brittany, and two children: 3-year-old daughter Sterling and 23-month-old son Bronze; were at the house on the night of October 6.
Mahomes clarified that he “can’t speak” on the details of the ongoing case, but is assured that media outlets will provide the details once they are ascertained.
Travis Kelce experienced home invasions just a day after Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes isn’t the only Chiefs player whose house was invaded by Bulgarers. Star tight end Travis Kelce’s Leawood mansion was burglarized at dusk on October 7. The robbers reportedly took $20,000 from Kelce’s mansion while also damaging the property by breaking the rear door.
Although the escalate was robbed at 7:33 p.m., the police were not called until the following morning at 1:36 a.m. Unlike Mahomes’ home burglary, which took place a day before the Chiefs’ match against the New Orleans Saints; Kelce’s home robbery happened during the game.
The incident took place a couple of days after the nine-time Pro Bowler’s 35th birthday, which he celebrated grandly at his mansion in Leawood, Kansas, on October 5 with the presence of many notable celebrities and athletes.
