“Her intention is to come back,” Auburn coach Jeff Graba said to olympics.nbcsport.com. He said that NCAA gymnastics has been good for Lee, but she will have to find her balance soon. “NCAA gymnastics has been good for her in a lot of ways. But she’s going to have to balance it out. She’s going to have to make decisions in the future, but right now the decision is: ‘I think I can still do both.’ So I think that’s where we are.”

Suni Lee, who took the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics last year in the women’s individual all around category continued her success streak as she took the silver medal in the same event at the NCAA Gymnastics championships earlier this year. She also took the gold medal in the balance beam event, motoring her team to fourth place- their best ever finish in history.

However, Lee has also mentioned strong plans to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Lee will have to make a decisive decision soon, since the training plan for collegiate gymnastics and international gymnastics is very different. “She has to make a decision whether she trains for 2024 or not. She wants to train. She doesn’t want to get caught off guard. And she doesn’t want to commit herself, because she’s pretty dang busy right now.”
