“Absolutely Amazing!”: Suni Lee, Trinity Thomas enter dominant wins as they lead Auburn, Florida to NCAA finals

The exciting star studded NCAA gymnastics season is now coming to an end this weekend. This year’s semifinals saw the performance of several Olympians alongside decorated college athletes. However, the names of Suni Lee and Trinity Thomas seemed to stand out as they stole the show.

Thomas had a dominant performance this year, taking the individual all-around title with a score of 39.8125. She also took the bars title with 9.9750 and ended with a title in the floor routine with a perfect 10. Thomas also led her Florida team into the finals of the NCAA championships.

Suni on the other hand, has finally found her place after the Tokyo Olympics. Moving to Auburn, she is responsible for carrying the Tigers through to the NCAA Finals. Lee came second in the individual all-around event, finishing with a score of 39.6750

Rounding out the rest of the NCAA individual titles, Lee clinched the title in the balance beam in style, after finishing with a score of 9.9625 on Thursday.
