Ace US gymnast Simone Biles and NFL star Jonathan Owens have time and again expressed their feelings on social media ever since they met in 2020. The couple has shared their pictures on plenty of occasions while spending time with each other. 

Recently, Biles took on her Instagram account to share a cute, comfy picture alongside Owens as the two celebrated Christmas this holiday season. 

“Merry Christmas y’all,” the star gymnast wrote alongside the pic.

Biles also didn’t shy away from showing off the gifts that Owens got her for Christmas. The American football safety for the Houston Texans got his girlfriend a pair of Yves Saint Laurent black heels and also a black handbag.

“A YSL Christmas, thanks babe,” posted Biles tagging Owens on her story.

Notably, the pair of heels cost a whopping $1,964. On the other hand, the handbag retails for an exorbitant price of more than $3,700. The total cost of both gifts adds up to almost $5,700. The American athlete further revealed that she received more presents which she didn’t post; she wrote, “More not pictured, he spoils me.”

“Didn’t know who she was” – Jonathan Ownes

In a recent interview, Jonathan had revealed that he didn’t know about Biles before the duo actually met during last year’s lockdown. 

“I didn’t know who she was,” said Owens while speaking to Texas Monthly. “I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked.”

“It was one of the few times in her life where everything was just shut off and she couldn’t do anything. So we used it to get to know each other—really get to know each other. It created our bond and made it stronger,” he added.
