Suni Lee has been having quite the fantastic year at Collegiate level championships. After winning the women’s individual all-around title at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Lee has found her place at Auburn University.

A freshman, Lee currently is in the team for the Tigers. She led the team into the NCAA championships after nearly four years- as they last qualified in 2016. Consequently, Lee has been named the WCGA Regional Gymnast of the Year (Region 4), the Women’s College Gymnastics Association announced Thursday.

“Suni has had a fantastic season so far and this award is recognition for what she has done in our region,” head coach Jeff Graba said to oanow.com. “I’m excited for her and it not only is a huge honor for her, but also for our program. However, in the end no award will be able to quantify how much she has brought to this program.”
