The 2016 Rio Olympics gold medal winner Simone Biles has achieved so many milestones in such a short span of her gymnastics career. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old has come across many battles, including a mental breakdown at the 2020 Rio Games.
Cut to today, Biles has chosen to settle down in Spring, Texas, where she purchased a lovely four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom house last year. The Ohio native gymnast reportedly spent a whopping $750,000 for the 3,900-square-foot residence to add to her massively estimated $16 million net worth.
“Sometimes I go on days to see if I can’t spend any money, of course, my gaslight comes on, and then I have to go get gas… so I never really swipe the card and maybe once in a while, I would go get Subway but other than that I never really swiped it,” Biles explained of her spending habits.
The seven-time Olympic medalist doesn’t shy away from sharing glimpses of the modern suburban Houston residence on her Instagram account. However, the pictures and videos typically focus on her intense training, workout sessions and her adorable French Bulldogs, Lilo and Rambo.
An inside look at Simone Biles’ lavish home
Built in 2019, the residence comes with a spacious backyard where Biles had installed a swimming pool with a raised hot tub. Located in a gated community, Biles’ place sits on a one-acre lot and includes a small outdoor kitchen and a three-car garage.
The Modern Houston house also features an inner courtyard with an outdoor brick facade framing the kitchen with a cozy seating area for Biles and her dogs. Moreover, her newly-built home comes with a state of the art kitchen and spa-like bathrooms. It comes with a fireplace and tray ceilings. Adding to this, the home also has a media room, Biles told the Houston Chronicle.
