In Short
  • Hardik Pandya gifted his son Agastya a Land Rover Defender SUV valued at over $200,000.
  • Pandya and his ex-wife Natasa Stankovic are co-parenting their son after finalizing their divorce in July 2024.
  • Pandya is currently in the spotlight for his performance in the 2026 T20 World Cup and his relationship with model Mahieka Sharma.

Although ace Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya might have separated from his ex-wife Natasa Stankovic, the two still co-parent their five-year-old son, Agastya. Pandya recently surprised his son with an expensive gift, an SUV valued at over $200,000.

Hardik Pandya’s personal life has been the talk of the town, ever since he announced his separation from Natasa Stankovic, in July 2024. Their marriage lasted just over a year, having shared wedding vows in a ceremony in Udaipur, only in February 2023. Reports suggested differing lifestyles and a breakdown in communication as reasons behind the split. The divorce was finalized, with the couple agreeing to co-parent their son.

Unlike high-profile splits that involve custody battles, the 32-year-old and Stankovic have collaborated to raise their child together. Hardik Pandya had, in fact, stated that his son Agastya, born in 2020, remains the ‘center of his world’, and regularly posts updates about their time together. As a tribute to his young son, whom he considers a ‘blessing’, the veteran Indian cricketer wears a necklace featuring the letter ‘A.’

Busy playing in the 2026 T20 World Cup, Pandya, however, made headlines for a heart-warming gesture for his son and ex-wife. The all-rounder arranged for an event at a car dealership in Mumbai, where he gifted his son a Land Rover Defender SUV, worth around $200,000 (INR 4 crores).

Pictures and videos of the moment were shared by the dealership, Navnit Motors. It showed Agastya receiving the car keys from the showroom owner, while his mother watched over.

Pandya’s former wife also received a gift hamper from the showroom staff, while the little one examined the car from close quarters. A banner on the side read, ‘From Papa to Agastya’, underscoring the father-son bond.

Moreover, it comes at a time when Pandya has been in the news for his relationship with model Mahieka Sharma. The couple have been public about their bond, with Sharma captured supporting the all-rounder during T20 World Cup matches.

Mahieka Sharma seems to be a comfortable part of the Pandya family and has been observed spending time with Agastya. Meanwhile, her partner has been performing well in the T20 World Cup, having scored a fifty against Namibia and also taken five wickets.

Injury scare for Team India as Hardik Pandya’s shot hits a teammate during practice sessions

Hardik Pandya might have accidentally caused a mishap in the Indian dressing room, after injuring one of the team’s premier pacers. Mohammed Siraj suffered an injury after the all-rounder’s shot hit him during a practice session, ahead of India’s Super Eight opener in Ahmedabad.

The Men in Blue take on South Africa at the Narendra Modi Stadium, in their first Super Eight clash of the ongoing 2026 T20 World Cup. Although the team finished the group stages undefeated, this second phase introduces a difficult new challenge. Ahead of that, Siraj finds his name on the injury list after being hit on his knees while bowling to Pandya in the nets during a pre-match training session.

Such was the impact of Pandya’s blow that the pacer had to limp off the ground, struggling to deal with the pain. Siraj is an injury replacement, having been called up just a day before the tournament began after Harshit Rana was ruled out. He played in the opener against the USA, picking up a three-wicket haul, but has since then remained on the bench, with Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh being picked.

Siraj’s injury is poorly timed, as the team may require an additional pacer for the Super Eight matches, and he is the only reserve fast bowler in the squad. The team’s management has not yet released a statement on the matter, leaving fans anxious.
