British tennis player Harriet Dart lost her cool when the chair umpire made a call against her during her match against Katie Boulter at the Nottingham. The Briton was fuming in anger over the call as she confronted the umpire and claimed she was embarrassing herself. Dart was also threatened with a potential code violation against her.
The incident occurred halfway through the second set when a shot from Boulter was called out before subsequently being overruled by Rask. Dart could not believe this call from the chair umpire Kelly Rask and went on a rant against her. The 27-year-old was frustrated and angry as she gave a mouthful to the chair umpire.

The ball is so far out, this is embarrassing, you’re embarrassing yourself. You should be embarrassed. It was here (placing a ball on the ground six inches behind the line) no joke, everyone here knows it.Harriet Dart said to the chair umpire.
In response to Dart’s allegations, Rask threatened Birton about handing her a code violation.
Harriet stop now or you’re going to get a code, I’ve had enough now. That’s it.The chair umpire said to Harriet Dart.
Harriet Dart ready to place a bet against the call
Harriet Dart did not just stop there. She continued to taunt the chair umpire about the wrong call and said she was even ready to place a bet against the call. The British tennis player continued her rant after the conclusion of the game.

She said that she had all the reasons to call the referee and further claimed that if anyone watched the point again, they would know how far the ball was out.
I’ve got a reason to call the referee, because of the calling, I’d like them to watch. If we watch that back, I can promise you, I would back £50,000 that ball is out, I’d shake your hand now. It’s a joke how far that was out.Harriet Dart said to Kelly Rask. (H/T: The Daily Mail)
The 27-year-old also demanded the introduction of electronic calling in every tournament. Dart claimed that there are too many disruptions and such wrong calls can impact the result of a game negatively.
Notably, Dart lost the match despite taking the opening set 7-5 on the tie-break. She pushed the defending champion Katie Boulter to her limits. Nevertheless, the latter won the match by winning the next two sets 6-4, 7-5.
