Harrison Butker, who faced backlash for preaching seemingly misogynistic values, endorses Donald Trump ahead of presidential elections

Just like some NFL WAGs supporting Donald Trump in the U.S. Presidential election for his work of helping people, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker endorsed the former President but for an entirely different reason.
Earlier this year, Butker came under intense scrutiny over his misogynistic, controversial speech during a graduation ceremony at a Catholic College. He advised the women– particularly the students graduating with a prominent degree, to accept their traditional roles of womanhood like embracing motherhood and choosing to be housewives.
As expected, he received a boatload of criticism from all around, but that hardly made him realize anything. Once again, he has come forward with another controversial belief as he cited Trump’s stance on abortion as the reason for endorsing him for the presidential elections.
Previously, when Butker endorsed his friend, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, for re-election, he cited Hawley’s belief in preserving the traditional values of America, which are apparently “washing away” due to the developing civilization and modernization.
Harrison Butker stands firm despite backlash for advocating traditional roles for women
The three-time Super Bowl champion also addressed the backlash and criticism he received for advocating for women to return to their traditional roles. Calling it “beautiful,” Butker remains unapologetic about his controversial beliefs.
While talking to host Laura Ingraham, he admitted not regretting his speech.
Butker might stand firm with his beliefs, but the Kansas City team made it very clear that they do not resonate with the mindset of their kicker. His teammates, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, as well as their significant others, have also denied sharing the same political beliefs as Butker.
On purely sports part for Butker, he and his team will be enjoying Week 6 due to their bye week. Week 7 will see them take on their last season’s Super Bowl matchup, the San Francisco 49ers.
