Harrison Butker arrived at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, on May 11 and chose to make the most of his 20-minute speech. He not only criticized President Joe Biden for his confusing pro-abortion stance but also expressed concerns about how most of the lawmakers in the country are Catholic but still choose to go against the will of God.

Well, it may sound cool if it came from a high-ranking priest or a father from the Vatican, but these are the words of Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker. Besides slamming Biden, the 28-year-old also reminded the male students of the institute to “be unapologetic in your masculinity.”

As men, we set the tone of the culture, and when that is absent, disorder, dysfunction, and chaos set in.

He was addressing the class of 2024 at the conservative Catholic college. Butker made it clear that male students should look into themselves and not let the control of the outside world change their perspectives on life.

Be unapologetic in your masculinity, fighting against the cultural emasculation of men. Do hard things. Never settle for what is easy. This absence of men in the [home] is what plays a large role in the violence we see all around the nation.

The three-time Super Bowl winner then turned his attention toward the female students present inside the auditorium.

Harrison Butker’s message for the female Catholic graduates

After blasting the Joe Biden government for badly handling the COVID-19 lockdown, Butker had a message for all the young ladies at the ceremony. He advised them to stay away from the lies told by the benefactors, who constructed them to create chaos in social order.

I think it is you, the women, who have had the most [diabolic] lies told to you. Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.

To put weight behind his argument, Butker mentioned his wife Isabelle, who has devoted her life to taking care of the family.

My beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her [vocation as a wife] and as a mother. I’m on this stage today, able to be the man that I am, because I have a wife who leans into her vocation.

It’s great that one of the most decorated placekickers can speak his mind without fearing any backlash. However, the world is black and white in how people perceive the notion of what a society is and how it should be governed. One side may agree with his words, but the other would definitely shun him for being supposedly backward in 2024.
