As England prepare to take on Greece and Ireland in the International break, Harry Kane has sent out a frustrated message to his teammates. Ahead of Lee Carsley‘s squad selection, several top players withdrew themselves from the same as they look to ‘recover’ from injuries.

Moreover, the Three Lions captain also passed up an extended vacation with Bayern Munich as he promptly joined the England camp. Cole Palmer, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Declan Rice are all unavailable for selection. In a recent press conference, Kane opened up about the same as he appeared to take aim at his teammates.

Lee Carsley responds to Harry Kane’s subtle rant at teammates

With England captain Harry Kane ‘calling out’ certain players in the squad for skipping the International break, interim manager Lee Carsley has been forced to respond. While Kane went for a more targeted and blunt approach, Carsley made sure that he also looked at the issue from the perspective of the players.

Keeping in mind that footballers are being made to play more and more games, it is crucial that they get adequate rest.
