In a recent interaction with the press, England captain Harry Kane answered questions regarding the recent criticism and pressure put on his team by many. A significant source of criticism was former Manchester United player and England international Gary Lineker.

Having made 80 appearances and bagging 48 goals himself, Gary Lineker knows a thing or two about the big stage himself. Harry Kane‘s earnest reply to the footballing legend has gone viral on social media.

Rice wanted their best players to feel like they are the best in the world in order to perform for the big games. However, the sad reality is that the remarks are often more negative than they are positive. It isn’t the first time that players like Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice have been the point of discussion for England’s poor performances.
