Bayern Munich youngster ruled out of Barcelona clash after injury against Stuttgart
Aleksandar Pavlovic has been ruled out for the club’s crucial UCL league stage encounter against long-time rivals FC Barcelona. The 20-year-old midfielder misses out due to a freaking collarbone injury that he sustained against Stuttgart.
Pavlovic has been ruled out for a much longer spell, after he fell on his shoulders during a scuffle for an aerial ball with Suttgart’s Fabian Reider. The young German midfielder was stretchered off the pitch in just the eighth minute of the match with a broken collarbone. The midfielder later underwent surgery for his broken bone, following a few crucial tests by doctors.
Meanwhile, the Bavarian giants will be looking to continue their impressive winning streak over Barcelona, when they visit Camp Nou this week. It will also mark a reunion of current Barca manager Hansi Flick and forward Robert Lewandowski, with their former side.
